Welcome to CyberSecurityEasy.com LLC
We are glad you are here!

Both our families and their members, including kids and parents, are targets of cyber threats.

We often talk about Cyber Security, but not as much about Social Engineering and Phishing—even though these are the top risk factors for both the safety of our family members and the security of our businesses. Are they truly safe?

Businesses are one of the primary targets. According to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), there were $1.6 billion in losses from January to May 2024—almost $300 million more than last year. According to Firewall Times, the Human Factor is involved in 98% of cyberattacks, which include some form of social engineering.

Are our kids learning about these dangers in school, while spending up to 9 hours a day on screens? The FBI reported that 14,000 children were victimized online, costing their parents $2.9 million.

Do our parents learn about it in their Senior Living Facility? Elderly fraud complaints increased by 14% in 2023. We work with senior citizens in their living facilities, providing ongoing group coaching sessions. Still think having antivirus software or Cyber Insurance makes you safe? Think again when you answer a phone call from a spoofed number showing your bank’s name or when you receive a voicemail from your boss or a family member asking for bank transaction or credit card information. By the way, does your Cyber Insurance cover Social Engineering training? We work with Cyber Insurance carriers to design this type of training.

About this Initiative

CyberSecurityEasy.com LLC’s initiative is dedicated to supporting the community by providing cyber safety coaching and raising social engineering awareness. We believe that the level of awareness and understanding of social engineering concepts is far too low. Our goal is to make these concepts easier to understand, covering topics like phishing via email, SMS, phone calls, phishing websites, best practices for passwords and account management, AI-based voice cloning, and other types of attacks.

Background and Why We Do This

Before coaching senior citizens on technology and social engineering, I spent almost 25 years in education, holding various roles, from staff positions to being a full-time professor. I have taught at Benedictine University, Kendall College, College of Lake County, Northwestern College, Art Institute of Schaumburg, along, University of the Potomac, among others and managed various startups, wearing many hats that gave me insight into the critical importance of social engineering from different angles. My experience includes administering programs and budgets, managing teams and data, teaching students, and training professors. I’ve worked with business entrepreneurs, senior citizens, teens-at-risk, and first responders. In addition to my experience in education, I’ve also worked for Fortune 500 and small companies in IT, and held various administrative and customer service roles across different sectors. I am a first-generation American; my family immigrated to the United States from Tashkent (then part of the former USSR) in 1992. I hold a Doctor of Business Administration from Argosy University, a Master’s Degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Business Administration Degree from Robert Morris University. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss your needs and to meet your team.
